Happy Valentine's Day to one and all!!!!
So, I've been through my stages of celebrating, not-celebrating, flat out boycotting and wearing all black, on this day... but after all of that, I think that even though today can turn into a Hallmark holiday, it can be yet another reminder of the love that God has for us!! =) We don't need to turn this into a S.A.D day (single awareness day), or spend lots of money on chocolate, cards, etc... instead, we should reflect on the ways God shows us He loves us!!
Today I thank God for showing His love to me in
* beautiful sunny days! * my family:Jim, Janice, John, Sheelagh, Jerry, Heather, Jay, & Sprout!
* snow on the trees! * a faith-filled community!
* chocolate & icecream! * friends to swing dance with!
* thoughful packages, esp. with flare! =) * answered prayers!!
