Hello all!!
Guess what?!? It's my day off!! Woohoo! Yeah, the co-leaders are forced to take a day off every week! Sooo, right now I'm in a library in Independence, Wisconsin, and soon I'm going to go "hit the town" and see what it has to offer! =)
Not much time to update, but for now, here it goes:
The most exciting news: We had our commissioning mass this past friday, and on the way to pick up all the rest of the team Ali and I had some minor difficulties hooking up the trailer, and it ended up coming off the hitch and bumping into the back of our van and breaking some important stuff! heehee! Like I said, who let me drive!! =) BUT that's not the most exciting news!! EVEN BETTER: my oh-so-loving parents flew out to surprise me and come to my mass!!! and let me tell you... i was FLOORED!!!!!!!!! 15 minutes before mass started we finally made it to the NET center and then some of my teammates came and grabbed me telling me they had something for me to sign outside... and then I get out there and my parents are standing in the parking lot, in MINNESOTA!!!!!! =) Phew! It was an exciting day!!
So, now I'm all commissioned and stuff! Our team received an awesome blessing while our team-supes read our mission statement!! Good stuff all around!! So far, our first 5 retreats have gone extremely well! God is moving these youth all over!! and even our contact people are getting revived! God's awesome!! =) Tomorrow we'll be back in St. Paul for our first Lifeline Event and then we swing back into Wisconsin to finish up our 1st (out of two) BIG trip!! =) Lots of love you you all!!
